In the opening exhibition of FRANCESC TORRES, part of the photographies that Raíña Lupa has edited from the artist since 2001 is presented.  Together with this, his most recent work is added: the Boomerang-2 series which names the exhibition, and which is composed by monotypes, collages and monumental engravings; 25 pieces of 210 x 116cm done during the first months of 2008 at Tristan Barbarà’s studio in Barcelona.

 

 

The exhibition temporarily coincides with the retrospective that the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA) will dedicate to the artist and that  will start showing next week.  

 

With the idea of combining art and literature in each exhibition, the presentation will be held by JULIÀ GUILLAMON, and a book-catalogue containing texts and the reproduction of his works will be edited.
